Terms and License Agreement
1. Product and license
The ContractCube Annual License grants the licensed company or workspace named in the order a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use ContractCube on supported platforms (currently Windows, and ContractCube Cloud in the browser) for twelve months, for any number of its own authorised users. Activation on up to 25 devices per license is included as fair use; more devices require our agreement. The software is licensed, not sold.
2. Price and payment
The price is €47.88 per year (equivalent to €3.99 per month), payable in full in advance, plus VAT where applicable as shown on the order. Payment is made by bank transfer to the account given in the payment instructions, quoting the order number, or by a one-time card payment where offered. The license is issued after the seller has confirmed receipt of the full payment. A payment reference or receipt sent by the customer does not by itself constitute confirmation.
3. No automatic renewal
The license does not renew automatically and no recurring payment is taken. To continue editing after the expiry date, the customer places a renewal order and pays it. If the renewal payment is confirmed on or before the expiry date, the new twelve-month period is added to the current expiry date. If it is confirmed after expiry, the new period starts on the date the payment is confirmed; the lapsed time is not backdated.
4. Activation period and term
The twelve-month term begins on first activation. The license must be activated within 90 days of being issued; if it is not, the term begins automatically on the 90th day. The license is valid until the end of the day before the first anniversary of its start date (UTC). Calendar-aware rules apply: a term starting on 29 February ends on 27 February of the following year.
5. Trial
ContractCube can be used free of charge for 30 days before purchase. After the trial, the software becomes read-only until a license is activated.
6. After expiry
When a license expires, ContractCube continues to open in read-only mode. The customer's data is not deleted; contracts remain viewable, attachments downloadable and data exportable. Editing is unavailable until the license is renewed.
7. Updates and support
Updates released during the active license period are included. Support is provided by email on working days.
8. Storage
Each ContractCube Cloud subscription includes the storage stated on the order (10 GB for the Standard plan, 2 GB during the free trial). Storage counts all files kept in the account, including document versions, email attachments received in the contract inbox, signed documents, e-invoices and files in the trash until it is emptied. Additional storage can be purchased in packs for the remainder of the subscription period. When the included storage is used up, uploading new files is suspended until space is freed or additional storage is purchased; existing data remains accessible and can be exported at any time. The Provider will notify the account owners when 80% and 95% of the storage is used. The Provider may change the storage included in plans for future subscription periods with at least 30 days' notice; storage already purchased is never reduced during the period it was paid for.
9. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
Consumers in the European Union may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the contract without giving a reason, by email to the seller. If the customer expressly requests delivery of the license before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is lost once the license has been activated, the right of withdrawal ends at activation. Refunds are made using the original payment method. A refunded license is revoked; a refunded renewal removes the renewed period.
10. Revocation
The seller may suspend or revoke a license in case of non-payment, chargeback, refund, or material breach of this agreement (for example sharing the activation key outside the licensed company). Revocation is communicated to the customer. Installations that are offline learn of a revocation the next time they connect.
11. Customer data
In the desktop app, contract data and documents are stored on the customer's own devices, and the customer is responsible for backups. In ContractCube Cloud, the seller processes the customer's content as processor under the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms. See the Privacy Policy for the data the seller processes as controller.
12. Nature of the service, no legal advice
ContractCube is software for organising and tracking contracts, documents, deadlines, obligations, registers, approvals and invoices. It is not a law firm, accounting firm or tax adviser, and it does not provide legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice. No lawyer-client or adviser relationship is created by using ContractCube, its templates, calculators, free online tools, data extraction or artificial intelligence features.
Deadlines, penalties, interest, notice periods, exchange rates, risk scores, summaries and other results are calculated from the data entered and from public sources, and are aids only. Templates are general examples and may not suit a particular situation. The customer remains responsible for checking results, for the content and legal validity of its contracts and documents, for meeting its legal deadlines and obligations, and for seeking professional advice where needed. The simple electronic signature offered by ContractCube is a simple electronic signature within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS), not an advanced or qualified electronic signature.
13. Liability
ContractCube is a planning and reminder tool. Reminders depend on the software running and on correct data entry; calculated dates and financial figures are aids, not legal or accounting advice. To the extent permitted by law, the seller's liability is limited to the license fee paid for the current period, except for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health.
14. Final provisions
The law of the seller's country of establishment applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the customer's country of residence.
